About the Author

Hey, I'm Jona.

I graduated in December 2012 with a degree in Theatre Arts from Brigham Young University. In my education, I took every opportunity to use my critical theatre education to analyze contemporary music, to which I have earned rave reviews from my professors, who have submitted my work to research paper contests.

I love staying up-to-date with what is going on in the music world and check the Billboard charts every week. I avidly research a wide variety of artists from pop scenes around the world, enjoying what I find about the most prevalent artists and the lesser known.

I have blogged since November 2010 on my more personal and in-depth Adventure of a Flunking Honor Student, which includes my own Grammy nomination predictions for 2012 and 2011. I feel I have a good grasp of the nature of the music business and of the Grammys.
